Goal
The main goal of AWCD is to strengthen women’s capacity to deal with basic problems that affect their daily lives: problems in raising children, poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, domestic violence, teen pregnancy, lack of health care, and hate crimes. The organization strives to provide the opportunity for women to empower themselves against the problems confronting them.
